Sleep is something we all need, but for many employees, getting good quality sleep can feel increasingly difficult.
Join Talia Shapero, Certified Adult Sleep Coach, for a practical and engaging conversation about why sleep can be so challenging today and what employees can do to support better sleep.
Stress, busy schedules, longer workdays, screen time, less movement, nutrition, and our daily routines can all influence how well we sleep. This session will help employees better understand what may be getting in the way of healthy sleep and, most importantly, what they can do about it.
Talia will explore sleep from a 24 hour perspective, looking at how what we do throughout the day can influence how we sleep at night. Employees will learn how sleep works, what influences our natural sleep rhythms, and how to identify areas that may be affecting their sleep across five key pillars: schedules, environment, headspace, movement, and nutrition.
The session will provide realistic strategies employees can incorporate into their everyday routines, from managing stress and getting outdoors during the day to creating a wind down routine, navigating screen use, and knowing what to do when they cannot fall asleep.
We’ll also tackle some of the most common sleep myths and misconceptions, including whether everyone really needs eight hours of sleep, whether naps are bad, and what role melatonin actually plays.
